How To Setup GoDaddy Email in MS Outlook

GoDaddy Assuming that your email is hosted on GoDaddy, this article will give you step by step instructions on how to setup GoDaddy email in MS Outlook.

But before you start, first you need to know your POP or IMAP Email Server Settings and ports. To find those info, please follow the following steps:

  • Log in to GoDaddy Workspace Email with your email and password
  • From the Help menu, select Email InfoCenter
  • You'll get the information that displays under Email Server Settings

To manually set up your email account, just follow the instructions below:

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook. From the main navigation menu, select Tools and select Account Settings
  2. Click New, and choose POP3 or IMAP
  3. When the Add New E-mail Account opens up, at the bottom, select Manually configure server settings and click Next
  4. Select Internet E-mail (POP3 or IMAP) and hit Next
  5. Enter your name, email, and password, and select either IMAP or POP3 for your Account Type depending on the type of email you have:

    Incoming mail serverpop.secureserver.net
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP)smtpout.secureserver.net
    Incoming mail serverimap.secureserver.net
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP) smtpout.secureserver.net

  6. Don't forget to insert your User Name (your full email address) and Password, and select Remember password
  7. Click More Settings
  8. On the Outgoing Server tab, select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as my incoming server
  9. And on the Advanced tab, next to Outgoing Server (SMTP), type 80 and click OK
  10. Click Test Account Settings to make sure all configuration is run properly
  11. Click Next, and Finish
